How to Prep Windows for Spray

If you’re looking to be brave and take on the challenge of spraying yourself, it goes without saying that the key to your success lays in how thorough your prep is.

Here I show you the process of applying plastic to your window if you are spraying it. In this case, the window has plastic casing on the inside that won’t need to be painted so we apply the tape to the “lip” of the plastic. If your window has a wood frame, you will usually need to apply the plastic directly to the pane instead.
